# Update knowledge pack

> Move a knowledge pack to a different account or team scope.

## Restrictions

| Aspect | Value |
| ----------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Rate limits | **300 requests/minute**; **20 requests/second** per account |
| Permissions | **Knowledge Manage** (`ai-sre`) |

## Usage

* `scope` is the only mutable field; omitting it is a no-op that returns the current pack.
* For `team` scope, `scope_id` is required; for `account` scope it is set to the account ID automatically.
* The move fails with `ReferenceExist` when the destination scope already has a pack — packs are never merged.
* Every call is recorded in the account audit log.
