Sync Azure Monitor alert events to Flashduty via webhook for automated alert noise reduction.

In Flashduty


You can obtain an integration push URL through either of these two methods:

Using Private Integration

Choose this method when you don’t need to route alert events to different channels. It’s simpler and recommended.

Using Shared Integration

Choose this method when you need to route alerts to different channels based on the alert event’s payload information.

In Azure Monitor


Step 1: Configure Webhook
  1. Log in to your Azure Portal and select Monitor product;
  2. Go to Alerts -> Action groups page, click Create button to start editing;
  3. As shown in the image, select Action type as Webhook under Actions;
  4. Enter a name, copy and paste the integration push URL into the URI field, and make sure to Enable the common alert schema;
  5. Click Create button to save.
drawingStep 2: Configure Alert Rule
  1. Go to Alerts -> Alert rules page, click Create or select an existing policy to edit;
  2. As shown below, select the created Action group on the Actions page;

  1. Save and wait for alerts to trigger.
